In 2016, I co-founded a non-profit with Robert Reich, Inequality Media, that makes videos that explain complex economic issues in ways everyone can understand. In 2016, the videos I directed had over 100 million views across social media platforms, an amazing outcome that wildly surpassed my expectations. I am aware that much of that audience is drawn to the work because of the uncertain economic times we live in, but I’m grateful to be doing work that I hope is doing some good.
I have two feature film projects due for release in 2017. My new feature documentary with Robert Reich, Saving Capitalism, is due out in spring 2017 on Netflix, and Love & Taxes, a comedy / performance hybrid with Josh Kornbluth, is being theatrically released Nationally in March. Check back for release schedule and information for both projects, and I’ll post what I know as I know it.
It’s busy times! I’m excited to continue my explorations of those places where art and activism meet in 2017. Click around, check out the work, and drop me an e-mail and let me know what you think if you are so inclined.
