In a (big) nutshell: I use visual storytelling to make complex issues accessible and present them in ways everyone can understand. In addition to making 5 feature films (3 narrative and 2 documentaries) and helping produce a TV series I won a Primetime Emmy for, I’ve made hundreds of shorts (how many exactly? I don’t know! I’ve lost count…) that have been viewed hundreds of millions (maybe over a billion?) times.
At some point I became something like a creative agency, a kind of soup-to-nuts place to help ideas fit into stories for issues I care about. I’m a writer, a director, and a producer. I find collaborations the most joyful part of the work.
For better (and sometimes for worse…) I am constitutionally incapable of taking my job for granted; I love what I do, and wake up every day a little bit afraid someone may tell me I’m not allowed to do it anymore. That’s a negative framing; the more positive one is I feel like a very lucky person to do this work. Check it out! And please — drop me a note if you feel so inclined and let me know what you think.
Whatever brought you here, thank you for your interest and have a great day!
